Village Potential Statistics of Kepahiang Regency 2024

Village Potential Statistics of Kepahiang Regency 2024 is the first series of BPS publications presenting the results of the 2024 Village Potential Data Collection (Podes). This publication contains an overview of the administrative areas of government at the village level in Kepahiang Regency according to the potential of the village/sub-district, the availability of infrastructure in the village/sub-district, and also the challenges faced in the village/sub-district. The data and information presented in this publication are grouped into three parts, namely: Village Potential, Village Vulnerability, and Village Infrastructure. The Central Statistics Agency has carried out the 2024 Village Potential (Podes) data collection in May 2024 through a census of all districts/cities, sub-districts, and the lowest government administrative areas at the village level. The 2024 Podes data collection collects various information, both in terms of the potential of the village/sub-district and information related to the vulnerabilities or challenges faced by the village/sub-district and basic infrastructure in the village/sub-district. Information related to village/sub-district potential includes: population and employment, housing and environment, education, health, socio-culture, sports and entertainment, transportation, communication and information, economy, security, development and empowerment of village/sub-district communities. Information related to vulnerabilities or challenges includes natural disasters, environmental pollution, social and health problems in the community, and security disturbances that occur in the village/sub-district. Information on infrastructure in the village/sub-district includes: education, health, and economic infrastructure. The results of the Podes Data Collection can be used as material for regional analysis related to economic, social and regional facilities/infrastructure potential. In addition, it can also be used in program evaluation and used in the preparation of regional-based policies/strategies.
